The level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and safety Practice is for those of you who wish to demonstrate and develop your skills and knowledge in managing health and safety for the workplace.
You will have an autonomous role in your organisation for managing health and safety policy and practice. You will report direct to or be part of the senior management team. You will recommend and implement changes relevant to your role and will be aware of cost implications and budgetary control.
The qualification will enable you to develop and demonstrate the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the occupational health and safety sector, and the qualification is achieved by completing a portfolio of work. You will be supported by an experienced RHG health and safety learning coach throughout your qualification.

Assessments are completed by a portfolio of work related activities supported by professional discussions to record your knowledge understanding.
While there are no pre-requisites for this course it is expected that you are an experienced health and safety professional with responsibility for managing health and safety within a workplace.
