RHG Consult Ltd (RHG) are determined to serve the best interests of the local community and communities we are working with by protecting and actively promoting the improvement of the environment.
Whilst the Directors are responsible for the implementation of this policy, it is in the interest of all employees, associates and subcontractors to uphold the intent of this statement.
RHG will aim to comply with the requirements of environmental legislation and all approved codes of practice.
In particular for our office sites and all workplace learning sites, contracts and sub- contractual obligations we shall endeavour to:
• Assess the environmental impact of all historic, current and future operations
• Reduce pollution, emissions and waste
• Reduce the use of all raw materials, energy and supplies
• Raise awareness, encourage participation and train employees in environmental matters
• Liaise with local community to raise environmental issues
• Encourage suppliers and contractors to set similar environmental standards for themselves
• Assist customers to use products in an environmentally sensitive way
• Continually seek to improve environmental performance
• Set an example. Lead by example
All projects and contracts are to include an Environmental Impact Statement. Directors/managers are responsible for implementing and assessing the Environmental Impact Statement for the life of the project
