This qualification is for those who assess both skills based and knowledge based learning. It is for practitioners who assess vocational achievement in both in a workplace and classroom environment. You may be assessing using any or all of the following methods.
Observation/examining work products/oral questioning and discussion/use of witnesses/learner statements/Recognition of Prior Learning/assessments in simulated environments/skills tests/oral and written questions/assignments/projects or case studies

You could be assessing competence or non-competence based learning, knowledge or skills, and the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement provides a pathway for you to qualify as an assessor and progress into a quality assurance role.
