Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment (RQF) has been designed for assessors who assess occupational competence in a learner’s work environment.
Designed to support a role in the workplace, the qualification covers a variety of assessment methods such as:

You could be assessing competence or non-competence based learning, knowledge or skills, and the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment provides a pathway for you to qualify as an assessor and progress into a quality assurance role.

Delegates will be assessed by the completion of written knowledge based assignments, practical joint observations, witness testimonies and professional discussions
While there are no pre-requisites for this course, it is useful if delegates have access to learners in order for joint observations of assessment to take place
