March closes and with it an end to B Corp Month, where we’ve celebrated what being a B Corp means to us; our people, our progress, and our commitment to keep improving.

But it also connects us to something bigger: a global community of businesses working to create positive impact and we seek to take that forward into every area of the business, including this seemingly small monthly blog, that contains a whole host of subjects and information sign posts, encouraging us all to make a positive impact.

So as April starts, Spring has definitely ‘sprung’ into action and our days are suddenly feeling longer and lighter.

We start the month with the Easter bank holiday weekend. If you observed the period of ‘Lent’ you may well be looking forward to something extra special if you ‘gave up’ something you love, but equally you may be welcoming the first official holiday period of the year, as a time to reflect, or spend with family and friends. Whatever you do with yours we hope it is a fulfilling time.

As well as the Easter weekend there are lots more dates to observe, some of which may be new to you, in which case we urge you to investigate them further.

April is Stress Awareness Month – Here at RHG we run a dedicated Mindfulness workshop which is free to attend and you can register your place on our bookings page. 13th-20th April marks International Dark Sky Week and brings to our attention the impact of light pollution; it disrupts wildlife, impacts human well-being, wastes money and energy, contributes to climate change, and blocks our view of the universe. Follow the useful guidance on use of outdoor lighting.

Another key week this month is Global Intergenerational Week, running 24th-30th April. At RHG, we recognise that powerful ideas, resilient teams, and sustainable growth come from bringing multiple generations together. An intergenerational workplace isn’t just a value—it’s a strategic advantage.

From early‑career talent to experienced leaders, every generation contributes unique insights, skills, and perspectives. By creating environments where these strengths are shared, we learn from one another, support one another, and succeed together.

All quite a lot to consider but plenty to read and think about, and maybe decide to put into action in some way, whilst enjoying our chocolate eggs.
