In June, we were proud to achieve B.Corp Certification.

But what does that mean?

It means we care about the impact that we have as a business, for our apprentices, employee partners, society and the environment. That is why we are proud to be a certified B Corporation™. Being a B Corp means that we demonstrate high standards of environmental and social impact. It also means that we are continuously working to improve our impact. We aim to empower individuals and organisations to thrive while contributing positively to society and the environment.

So with that in mind, during July, we see the Olympic Games arrive in Paris. A global spectacular bringing the best in the world together, alongside many athletes who may not competing for medals, but went through the same rigorous trials to participate and proudly represent their home country. In excess of 10,500 athletes will come together, along with their coaches, families, sponsors, media companies, organisational staff and spectators alike.

Being under such an intense global spotlight allows for forward thinking, boundary pushing concepts to become reality.

Our GROW Academy runs a great workshop called ‘Being Socially Responsible’ and is an opportunity to explore the range of ways that individuals and organisations can be more socially and environmentally responsible. So that brings us full circle back to the Paris Olympic Games starting this month. Interestingly, it is the third time the Games will be held in Paris, the most recent exactly 100 years ago and making it only the second city behind London, to be the host three times.
