June 2025
The RHG month of walking culminated in a huge array of activities from our staff. From walking in the countryside, in cities, up mountains, around theme parks, here in the UK or overseas, we really did cover all bases! How did you do?
June is filled with more outdoor themed dates of interest, whether partaking yourself or watching others. They range from World Bicycle Day and the Big Sport Relief Run, to Wimbledon, Royal Ascot and many more besides.
June is also Pride Month celebrating the spectrum of gender and sexuality and promoting equality for the LGBTQIA+ community.
As we proudly complete our first full year of certification as a B Corp, we are eager to get involved with the Great Big Green Week in June too. You can find out more about how to get involved yourself by following the link below:
The Summer Solstice also falls in June, marking the longest day on the calendar in the northern hemisphere and conversely the shortest day in the southern hemisphere. And did you know within the artic circle there are 24 hours of daylight?
So whether you are taking part in sport, watching sport or just embracing being outdoors, June really is the month get outside!
There are some other key dates for you to explore below.
