Diversity, Wellbeing & Environment Calendar

October 2023

October is upon us and with it the clocks are set to change. On October 29th the clocks go back by one hour, giving us an extra hour in bed and preparing us for the colder months when the sun sets earlier and days get significantly shorter.

Halloween is also at the end of the month and with the wet summer months, pumpkins are set to be even bigger this year, so be sure to get plenty of recipes on stand by from World Vegetarian Day.

Days of significance are on the calendar below but we are also going to delve deeper into three ‘Awareness Months’ through our Social media channels.  Black History month will be highlighted, along with Breast Cancer awareness month and ADHD awareness month.  There are many celebrities and famous educators that we can draw on for inspiration and courage, so do follow us on social media so you don’t miss their stories.

Our GROW Academy is delivering an ‘Introduction to Project Management’ one day workshop in December, which learners continue to give great feedback on – book a free place here – Virtual Workshops – RHG (rhgconsult.co.uk)
